I visited the Maple Grove MN store last week to return equipment and ask about a Diamond reward (MGM+) that I claimed, but it only worked 1 time and not the 30 days I was promised. The associate was patient and kind, but had not been empowered by those to whom they report to make things right immediately. TmIn my opinion, they should be able to reinstate the reward for 30 days without having to tell me I had to call customer service myself. Who knows how long I would have had to wait to explain all over the issue and only possibly get the desired result. It's virtually always those in authority who are the problem as I believe it was in my case. Let your people closest to the customer make decisions and satisfy your paying customers, please.

This the worst experience that I have had with a company in long time, and I am a old man. Our credit was frozen, so Hughesnet said I had to buy the equipment; so I did for $400. Our tv reception was terrible, slow with poor resolution. Internet phone service wasn't much better, choppy with dropped words. When I canceled the service Hughesnet said I owed $400 for early termination: they also will not buy back the equipment that I purchased. If you are dealing with Hughesnet expect the worst.

Good pricing and decent speed. The only real issue is the service cuts out 4 to 6 times per 24 hours. It will cut out for about 3 minutes each time. Called CenturyLink and they say that is normal I think that is a bad answer.
