We attempted to transfer our internet services to our new address recently. My husband called and set up the service transfer but when we received the confirmation email, Spectrum had also added TV services. When my husband called back to fix it, he was told he couldn't make changes to the account all of a sudden since it's in my name. When I called back to change it, I spent about 45 minutes on the phone, being transferred to multiple people (one with such a poor connection I could hardly hear her - maybe working from home?). Every person I spoke with tried really hard to sell me their other services despite telling them multiple times I didn't want anything other than internet. On the date of our service transfer, we received a new modem in the mail despite the fact that we told them we had our own modem we had been using and didn't need any equipment. And naturally, upon going to the Spectrum store to return the equipment, there was a long wait, just to return equipment we told them we didn't need in the first place. Needless to say, I'm not real thrilled with the customer service.

Service was very inconsistent. The internet would cut out quite often despite being no "official outages". Pricing was good for the first year, then they jacked up the bill $20 a month and would not honor the deals that they constantly mailed me. On top of that, there were multiple hidden fees. The speed of the internet was actually pretty good, when it worked.
