CenturyLink has gone downhill fast. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I pay for their highest speed package which is 900 Mbps & on a good day over the last SEVERAL months I have 48.50 Mbps. I spend countless hours on support chat and over an hour phone call today for them to "chuckle" about the situation & tell me they cannot send a technician out for another week. RIDICULOUS. This is affecting my livlihood and I don't have enough speed to power my Zoom Call with my clients. They could careless. If customer service was a top priority they would make something happen when their customer tells them they had to cancel their day because of their internet issue and they still choose to not help them by making it a priority is terrible. I have been more than patient with them over the past few months with their supposed equipment issues. If you have ANY other option for internet I would go with them and NOT CenturyLink.

Been with Centurylink/Quest for over 30 years so naturally signed up for their internet service when it came out...now I receive an email that says Action needed-avoid an outage contact us immediately - so I do, only to find out they are not going to support our internet service anymore - referring me to a sister company...

Trying to cancel my service is a trip down a rabbit hole that no one should have to go through. On hold for an hour, over 5 emails that were sent to return my modem that I never received. Text messages sent that were never received. Forwarded to a supervisor that went into voicemail. I don't think you could get any harder for a senior citizen to get a QR code to return a modem. I would consider coming back after my trial into streaming but not any more. I am frustrated to tears that your customer service is so poor.

Terrible customer service. Internet went bad and I didn’t have service for hours. I pay for NFL ticket which isn’t cheap and then wasted over 3+ hours talking to representatives trying to troubleshoot. They said they would reimburse me $10 for my time.

I have been trying to cancel Century Link since Tuesday, October 3. It hasn't even been installed. It is impossible to cancel online or by text or by chat. The only way to cancel is by phone call but it’s not possible to do that either because every number you call (given to you as the one where you can cancel) puts you on hold for at least 30 minutes and then either disconnects you or refers you to a different phone number. I have spent days trying to get a person on the phone who is able or willing to cancel. IT CAN’T BE DONE !!!!! And now I have to cancel my credit card to keep them from charging me every month for service I don't have and don't want.

Century Link is the worst internet provider in history. I’ve lived in multiple states and it’s horrible in every state. Surprised they can operate a business after all these years of scamming people. you’ll pay a high price for your internet to work MAYBE twice a month at minimum speed. a joke of a company, all in my opinion. disgusting business.

I had a service ticket. I was asked to be available from 8am to 5pm. The tech never called, so I reached out to customer service. I was told they would be coming at 7pm and then I was told it would be the following day. I wanted one whole day and had to wait the next day. I have job and did not have time to miss work. Unacceptable customer service. I will be looking for a new provider.

Internet went out some time during the evening, I work remotely and was informed the soonest they'd be able to get a technician out is 2 weeks. No prioritization of existing clients or their issues, no urgency of field service requests. Asked about reimbursement for the weeks of services I will be without and was informed to call back at a later date once the internet was working. "Empowering people through technology" - this is their slogan and I feel empowered to look for alternative ISP providers. Suggest anyone reading this do the same...
